Welcome to my page. My research interests include political intolerance, social norms, governance and accountability, corruption, and electoral manipulation. I am Professor of Political Science and Department Chair at ITAM in Mexico City. I previously taught at the University of Chicago's Department of Political Science. I have been Visiting Fellow at the Toulouse School of Economics' Institute for Advanced Study of Toulouse, National Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University, and Fellow at Princeton University's Niehaus Center for Globalization and Governance. I hold a PhD in political science and an MA in economics from Stanford University and a B.Sc. in (environmental) engineering sciences from Harvard College.
